Markets are easier to read when events are laid out in order. This timeline starts with the second-quarter 2026 industrial figures reported by EdgeProp Singapore and runs forward to the estimated completion of SKYE @ TUAS.
Now: the second-quarter picture
The industrial rent index rose 0.5% in the quarter, its 23rd straight gain, and reached a level not seen since 1996. Cumulatively, rents are 27.2% above the third quarter of 2020 low. The all-industrial price index climbed 0.6% on the quarter and 3.8% on the year, and occupancy ran between 89.3% and 90.5% across single-user factories, multi-user factories and warehouses.
This month: the next data point
URA's release calendar lists 23 October for the third-quarter 2026 market update. Anyone following industrial conditions will want to see whether the quarterly climb continues, slows or reverses. One quarter does not make a trend, but it does extend or interrupt the series.
Second half of 2026: new space completes
About 4.4 million sq ft of industrial space is scheduled to finish before year-end. By category, single-user factories account for 53% and warehouses for 46.9%, with multi-user factories at a sliver of about 0.1%. How much of this space is absorbed quickly will influence the figures that follow.
First quarter of 2027: SKYE @ TUAS
SKYE @ TUAS, developed by Soon Hock Group at Tuas Link Close, has an estimated completion in the first quarter of 2027. It is a 30-year leasehold B2 industrial project of nine storeys with about 309 strata units, and Tuas Link MRT is reached through a sheltered link bridge. The location page maps out that connection.
What the timeline cannot tell you
Every date above is either reported data or an estimate. Completion schedules can move, and market conditions between now and 2027 may look quite different from the second quarter of 2026. A prudent buyer treats the timeline as a checklist of things to monitor, not as a prediction.
How to use the timeline
Treat each date as a prompt to check something. When the next data release arrives, compare it with the second-quarter numbers in the same categories, so you are looking at like for like. When completions are reported, see whether the share going to multi-user factories moves away from the roughly 0.1% seen today. As the project's own completion approaches, confirm the schedule directly with the developer.
Keeping a simple log of the figures lets you spot a trend instead of reacting to one quarter. Timelines also shift: completion estimates are revised and releases can be rescheduled. A buyer who builds some slack into their own plans is better protected than one who relies on a single date.
