The new head of Frasers Property's industrial and logistics business will be based in Singapore. According to EdgeProp, which reported the appointment on 13 October 2026, Jai Mirpuri of ESR takes charge of Frasers Property Industrial on 11 January 2027 and reports to group chief executive Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi. The essentials fit into three points.

SKYE @ TUAS Quick Take on the Frasers Change

  • The handover. Reini Otter steps down on 17 December 2026 after 28 years with Frasers Property, seven of them as chief executive of Frasers Property Industrial, and joins ESR Group to head its Australia and New Zealand business. Mirpuri's term begins on 11 January 2027.
  • The remit. Mirpuri's responsibilities cover industrial and logistics operations in Australia and Europe, plus oversight of the manager of the Singapore-listed Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust.
  • The background. An ESR executive since 2008, Mirpuri heads ESR Fund Managers as chief executive and leads ESR's Southeast Asia business; he was the founder and co-chief executive of ESR India. The group chief executive cited his deep sector expertise.

Stacked Homes, writing on 13 October 2026 about prime offices, offers a separate reference point on occupier behaviour in Singapore. Citing a research house, it said most tenants new to the office market are technology firms and non-bank financial companies such as fintechs. Many begin in flexible co-working space and later move to higher-quality premises, a pattern the research house calls a flight to quality.

On the calendar, the two Frasers dates sit close together. Otter's final day, 17 December 2026, falls shortly before the year-end, and Mirpuri begins on 11 January 2027, early in the new year. The report packs the appointment into one line of scope: two regions, one listed trust and a Singapore base, with the reporting line running to the group chief executive.

Verdict: The appointment is a leadership change inside one property group, with fixed dates and a defined scope: a Singapore-based chief, operations in Australia and Europe, and oversight of a listed trust's manager. The office observations from Stacked Homes describe a separate segment and serve as background on how occupiers in Singapore move between types of space. Taken as a pair, the two reports are about people and premises rather than about any single building. For anyone following Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust, 11 January 2027 is the date on which oversight of its manager passes to Mirpuri.

SKYE @ TUAS itself stands apart from the Frasers change. Developed by Soon Hock Group, the B2 general industrial ramp-up building at Tuas Link Close stands beside Tuas Link MRT station, linked by a sheltered bridge. Approximately 309 units are spread over nine industrial levels on a site of about 2.76 ha, with drive-up access to every floor and two dedicated heavy-vehicle decks. Tenure is a 30-year leasehold, TOP is estimated in Q1 2027, and registration of interest is open; the location page maps the address.
